Actionwork Supervision and Counselling
As part of our committment to the local community, Actionwork will be offering high quality and affordable face-to-face counselling and supervision for residents of Weston-super-Mare and North Soomerset and online for people all over the world.
We are making improvements to our premises in Weston-super-Mare so that local people can make use of our services. This will include:
- Counselling
- Academic Supervision
- Training
1. One-to-one counselling services will be offered to people who suffer bullying, low self-esteem and/or relationship / friendship difficulties. Sessions will be by appointment only and will be in the strictest confidence. These sessions will focus on empowerment and feeling good about ourselves.
2. Academic supervision will be provided to those people undertaking a higher degree (PhD, MA, MsC and MPhil) to offer guidance and thesis assistance.
3. Training will be offered to small groups of teachers and those who work with young people who want to improve and refine the creative personal, health and education skills (PSHE).
These services are to compliment our existing services that focus on 'young people first' and helping young people get the best out of their lives.
Fees will be affordable and have a sliding scale.
